I am Clémence Georges-Picot, a French textile artist who works exclusively with ribbons, a material I long carried in my pocket as a "doudou". In 2025, while creating my first artwork, 'Écume des jours', I developed my own innovative technique, working with ribbons on their edge to create perspective, movement and foster their satin sheen. Through this technique, I seek to bring movement into stillness. I explore texture, perspective and light to create works that shift with the viewer’s position and evolve with changing light.
