Born in Moscow, Elena grew up travelling between Europe and Asia. Her energy finance career spans several countries and continents. She moved to Texas in 2002, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with an MBA degree in 2004 and continued to expand her energy advisory practice. As Elena started painting only recently, she gravitates towards imaginative realism and surrealism styles, while continuing to explore other genres.
