ARTIST · JOHANNESBURG

At heart I am an artist and poet. Since an early age I have been passionate about creativity and have been making images since I could first hold a crayon. As an artist, I describe myself as a symbolist, using images of things such as moths and bones in my artwork to represent guidance, the search for truth and more literal realities such as society and survival. I work mostly in charcoal, pastel and ink, acrylic paint and oil paint. I seek to capture emotionally charged messages within my artwork, to be absorbed and interpreted by the viewer.
