Josephine Tuohy is a UK-based visual artist and Fine Art student at the University for the Creative Arts, Canterbury. Her practice centres on experimental photography, combining traditional darkroom processes with alternative photographic techniques and mixed media. Through cyanotypes, analogue photography, image transfers and unconventional materials, she explores themes of memory, identity, impermanence and the relationship between the body and its environment. Her work embraces experimentation, chance and the unexpected, finding beauty in imperfections and the transformation of materials.
