ARTIST STATEMENT
My practice is rooted in colour as a form of communication. I am interested in how personal experiences — the places we live, the languages we speak, the cultures we encounter and the memories we carry — shape the way we see the world.
Having lived across different countries and cultures, I often begin with my own experiences and translate them into bold, abstract visual narratives. Rather than representing places or memories literally, I reduce them to the colours, patterns, forms and details that remained with me.
Through my work, I explore the relationship between individual memory and shared experience. Colour becomes my language: a way of communicating something deeply personal without relying on words, and of creating an emotional connection that can exist beyond linguistic or cultural boundaries.
