Merve T. Ekinci is a London-based contemporary artist working primarily with oil painting. Her practice explores identity, belonging, displacement, and memory through abstraction and symbolism. Drawing on personal and collective experiences of political and social instability, she translates psychological and emotional states into visual language. Her paintings use recurring motifs such as houses, boats, horizons, and geometric forms to explore themes of shelter, movement, resistance, and belonging.
