Murat Bür (b. 1982, Bursa, Turkey) is an Istanbul-based contemporary interdisciplinary artist whose practice investigates the relationship between body, perception, and states of consciousness through painting. Rooted in a long-standing engagement with movement and physical awareness, his work explores how embodied experience is translated into a visual language of rhythm, energy, and stillness. Working primarily with acrylic on canvas, Bür creates layered compositions where controlled gestures meet intuitive processes, balancing tension, movement, and presence through abstraction.
